The Micro-enterprise Development Program is designed to support low to moderate income individuals who are interested in starting micro-enterprises. The program will establish a network of partners to provide a full range of support and assistance to individuals interested and capable of establishing micro-enterprises.  Partner organizations include:

• Community-based organizations to conduct candidate outreach and assessment. 
• Micro-enterprise service organizations provide business and technical training and Technical Assistance.
• Business and technical assistance organizations, with expertise in an industry to provide technical assistance and support to the newly established micro-enterprises
• Micro-enterprise funding partners provide funding for the newly established businesses
