The Micro-enterprise Development Program is designed to support
low to moderate income individuals who are interested in starting
micro-enterprises. The program will establish a network of partners to
provide a full range of support and assistance to individuals
interested and capable of establishing micro-enterprises. Partner
organizations include:
- Community-based organizations to conduct candidate outreach and assessment.
- Micro-enterprise service organizations provide business and technical training and Technical Assistance.
- Business
and technical assistance organizations, with expertise in an industry
to provide technical assistance and support to the newly established
micro-enterprises
- Micro-enterprise funding partners provide funding for the newly established businesses
