To strive for a community that is healthy and safe, under the atmosphere of respect for education, its cultural diversity, and inclusiveness; where people are trained to their potential and therefore employed; where we care and respect each other and all living things by understanding the bond between people and the environment.

The CIG attempts to capitalize on the diverse strengths and competencies of its constituencies in defining the initiatives that lead to sustainable capacity building.  The goal is to identify and connect community needs with the requisite resources, and in doing so realize true community building in this process of “needs-driven matchmaking”.


Membership to the CIG is participatory and open to any stakeholder in the community i.e. residents, service providers, businesses, community organizations as well as anyone who works in the area.  The following active members are highlighted (alphabetically):
